Hulshof Campaign Manager Rallies the Faithful

From Jason Rosenbaum at this weekend's Boone County GOP chili supper:

That message was hammered home by Renee Hulshof, wife of Republican gubernatorial candidate Kenny Hulshof. She told a packed Elks Club in Columbia that the party had "25 days to get ’er done."

"So when you hear another Republican rolling over and playing dead, saying, ‘Oh my, the sky is falling,’ tell him to stick a sock in it," she said. "Because the undecideds will not buy it if we can’t sell it. And we don’t sell it by telling them what’s wrong with the world."

One is left wondering when Renee Hulshof became the expert on how to "sell" to undecideds and just how long she's been responsible for determining such strategy for her husband's campaign.

Renee Hulshof's Spin

That's a pretty amazing quote.  Not sure what the "it" is that they are selling but its amazing she tells them to hide the truth in order to sell whatever "it" is.  In answer to your last question, I understand she became an expert in spinning Governor races while working for former Attorney Bill Webster, a/k/a prisoner number 432756.  Didn't work then, won't work now.
