Cynthia Davis quietly launches campaign for State Auditor

Apparently inspired by comparisons to Sarah Palin, State Representative Cynthia Davis has quietly launched her campaign for State Auditor.

In a little noticed State Ethics Commission filing, Davis has listed a statewide race in 2010 as her next election.  As a constitutional scholar, Davis obviously knows that the only state office on the 2010 ballot is State Auditor. 

Davis has a long personal and legislative record to run from on, including:

• Paying her personal taxes with campaign funds.
• Leaving a toddler unattended on a roadway.
• Her notable writings on "free sex"

Missouri GOP topper Peter Kinder is certainly off to an impressive start with 2010 candidate recruitment.
