Fratricide: Kinder worked against GOP ticket in closing days of race
There is growing resentment in GOP ranks over the way Peter Kinder worked against the GOP ticket in the closing days of the campaign.
According to GOP sources, Kinder and his allies distributed thousands of sample ballots in urban areas on Election Day.
Rather than suggesting voters support the GOP ticket, the sample ballots recommended only Democrats, except for the Lt. Governor's race. For that contest alone, a Republican was suggested---- Peter Kinder.
One sample ballot even sandwiched Kinder's pocked mug between the photos of Barack Obama and Democratic Congressman Lacy Clay.
Stay tuned to Fired Up for more on fratricide within the GOP.

Single male, CWE
What is a never married male living in CWE doing in the Rethug party - oh, maybe is is having a few too many with Bond.
Central West End!?!?!
Ha Ha- that is funny even if is true!
It is also funny how Republicans are all so repressive of their sexuality!
The face of Missouri republicans
Kinder’s scheme to undermine other republicans as part of an internal power play worked. He is now the only elected republican in Missouri government.
Kinder is now the face of the Missouri republican party.
I WOULD HANG MYSELF IF I
were a republican in Missouri.
IS KINDER THE BEST THEY COULD COME UP WITH?
SO KINDER IS THE SHINING EXAMPLE OF WHAT REPUBLICANS IN MISSOURI STAND FOR?
I SO MISS JOE MAXWELL...
Voters for "good government"?
I found the "paid for line" a bit laughable. A month or so ago, the ACLU sponsored a guest speaker who spoke about various voter suppression tactics. When he would name the group it would be something along the lines of "Virginians for Good Goverment" or "Bay Area Citizens for Good Government".
The speaker stated that one way to tell an organization is more self-interested than for the greater good is by the "good government" in the name. As in "government that is good for me and my pocketbook".
With this in mind I went to the Missouri Ethics Commission to see who funds this. It seems to be a St Charles based organization. I only looked at their last filings, a few 24-hour notices. I see they are getting large sums from the St Charles Orginization of Republicans and paying a lot for printing (sample ballots?) and flowing through money to Peter Kinder.
Now once again tell me how a ST CHARLES organization is somehow tied to a "Support Our Community" ticket? Most St Chuckers avoid the city like the plague (with exception for sporting events).
Sigh...when will we learn.
Fratricide is right!
When I asked some Dems who were handing out pro-Dem materials the answer usually was based in something Kinder had done/given to them vs something he had done to benefit St Louis or Missouri as a whole.
I hate to think we can be bought, but sometimes...
