McCaskill's skilled hand shows in closing days of campaign

As Barack Obama brings his campaign to southwest Missouri this weekend, I can't help admiring the quiet, but skilled hand of Claire McCaskill at work.

Laid out before us, on the closing weekend of the most important election in decades, is the classic McCaskill strategy--- cut into GOP margins in their base areas by campaigning there aggressively.  And then, with brutal efficiency, deliver the knock out punch by running up overwhelming margins in the cities and suburbs.

Just like 2006, Missouri is the proving ground for the new Democratic math.

Some may call it...

... a McCain-Palin whack job.
