69,000 Invalid Signatures in Connerly’s so-called “Civil Rights†Initiative Prompts Colorado Lawsuit

With only about a week before petition signatures are due in Missouri, another of Ward Connerly’s “Super Tuesday for [so-called] Civil Rights†states seems to have failed in gathering enough valid signatures.
From Rocky Mountain News in Colorado:
A group analyzing thousands of signatures that qualified a November ballot measure backed by Ward Connerly filed a legal challenge claiming more than half are invalid.
[The group]…found about 69,000 signatures that they claim are not valid.
"We've taken an exhaustive review of all of the signatures Connerly submitted and we found it replete with mistakes, errors and ignoring the law," Hughes said.
…Hughes said the problems with the signatures include more than 4,000 duplicate signatures and almost 7,000 signatures were affected because signature gatherers were not Colorado residents — a legal requirement in the state to collect signatures…
...A separate challenge has also been filed against the amendment's backers, claiming Connerly's signature gatherers engaged in misleading practices to collect signatures.
As Fired Up! readers know, unfortunately, Colorado and Missouri are not the only places where Ward Connerly and his clan of carpetbaggers have used misleading, deceptive, fraudulent and sloppy tactics to change other states’ constitutions.
Just ask Michigan and Oklahoma.
Remember, Missouri voters, don't be intimidated or misled by scary carpetbaggers during the next week into signing the so-called "civil rights" petition that will "end discrimination." Just say NO THANKS. And if you see any fraudulent behavior, report it here or here.
