Cynthia on KMOX: "Can't we have an intelligent debate?"
Cynthia Davis was on KMOX radio this afternoon to talk about her newfound notoriety as the poster children for ridiculous Republican politicians and hypocritical, cruel public policy. With generous questions from hosts John Hancock and Michael Kelly, Davis avoided discussing the substance of her offending newsletter and response, both of which decry the evils of summer meal programs for low-income kids.
Davis continued to blame "the left" for "taking things out of context" when quoting her newsletter at length.
This quote is a good snapshot of the Cynthia Davis worldview:
I happen to think that growing government bigger and using poverty as an excuse to grow government bigger and further intrude into the family is not the right answer.
I always wondered why every other reasonable human being thinks it's a good idea to help provide healthy meals for children who might otherwise go hungry. And now we know -- it's all just an excuse to raise taxes!
Davis also discussed the 2010 Auditor's race, for which she is already raising money:
All I know is I bought myself some cowboy boots and I'm learning how to say "Missourah!"

Isn't Cynthia an Obama BC "Truther"?
This alone voids any and all 'intelligent' conversation from Cynthia Davis....in short, she's a far right whacko....if she doesn't lose the chair, then there is something very wrong with Missouri and especially the 19th district that voted for her to begin with.
Yes, Cynthia is a birther
Along with a disturbing number of other legislators.

You know, it hurts the feelings
of Republican officeholders when we imply that they are inhuman monsters just because they believe that parents should be responsible for their own children. Why is it, they wonder, that we fall all over ourselves to bail out people who don't suck it up and support themselves, then we berate these responsible Republicans. Such treatment is enough to make these good people feel victimized. Poor things.
Bang head on table
Cynthia Davis is the Mozart of cluelessness.
Cruelty to Cynthia
Why does the public make fun of our democratic process by electing the likes of Cynthia Davis, Sarah Palin, and Michelle Bachman?
We used to keep these poor souls hidden in the village where they could not harm themselves or others. Now we parade them in the halls of government and feature them on television and the Internet for our national amusement. It almost seems cruel and inhumane.
Do we need intelligent parties to have an intelligent debate?
We should probably start there....
