Blunt acknowledges lack of substance in his own health care talking points

Rep. Roy Blunt (R-K Street) took to the floor of the House of Representatives today to share his excitement about debating someone else's health care reform proposal, probably so his own party will stop harassing him about why he's failed so miserably in leading the House's health care reform efforts.

Blunt was surprisingly profound in his remarks, in which he stated that "almost every Member of this House would agree" with the central principle of his non-existent GOP plan --  making "quality health care coverage affordable and accessible." The question, Blunt said, is "how we get there."

To which the world replies: "No duh."  The "how" really is the question, isn't it?

Maybe when Blunt gets around to drafting a plan, we'll get a sense for the "how" he has in mind.
